Meet the Founder

From Brokenness to Leadership

"I was never someone who chased education for grades alone. I pursued understanding. I wanted to understand people, truth, pain, purpose, leadership, and life itself."

At 17 years old, after losing my first love, I began asking difficult questions: What is love? What is fear? What is truth? What is happiness? What do we do with pain and uncertainty? Those questions became life lessons.

Over the years, I experienced heartbreak, betrayal, loneliness, and seasons that deeply challenged my identity and faith. Yet those same experiences shaped my resilience, emotional intelligence, leadership philosophy, and spiritual foundation.

In one of the hardest chapters of my life, I encountered God in a transformative way. What once felt like brokenness became restoration. Faith renewed my purpose, strengthened my character, and transformed how I viewed leadership, relationships, and service.

After moving from Ethiopia to the United States, I pursued engineering while raising children and adapting to a completely different culture. It was one of the most difficult seasons of my life emotionally, mentally, and financially—but also one of the most defining. Through faith, perseverance, and discipline, I earned my engineering education, built professional experience, and continued growing into the leader I was called to become.

Today, I am the founder of TME Leadership & Management Institution—an organization dedicated to developing transformational leaders, strengthening organizations, advancing AI-ready leadership, and bridging innovation between Africa and the United States.

Tsega Emishaw founded TME Leadership & Management Institution with a vision to bridge leadership, innovation, education, and organizational excellence between Africa and the United States.

The institution was built from a deep belief that access to practical leadership knowledge, strategic thinking, and organizational capability can transform lives, institutions, and communities.

Drawing from experience in engineering, project management, government operations, leadership development, and organizational improvement, the founder recognized the growing need for institutions that can help leaders navigate complexity, technological change, workforce transformation, and global challenges with confidence and clarity.
